The Flash 16-18 (AKA The One Where News Reporters Get All The Guys)

The Bat-Kids (AKA The One Where Punching Your Son In The Face Is The Wrong Response)

In honor of Father's Day (or dishonor?), even though we've missed it by a week or so, Makoto decided to talk about a topic very near and dear to her heart, and that is: The Bat-Family.  She runs through over seventy-five years of comics, focused on Bruce Wayne and his children, and it's a tumultuous little history.  Tune in to learn a bit about the kids, and most importantly, how well they get along with Daddy-bats!

For example, there's Dick:
Sometimes they be like this...

...and sometimes they're like this...
 There's Jason:
that little punk
still a punk
 And Tim:
look at that cutie~!

with daddy-bats
 Also, Cassandra:
Daddy bonding time?

her new family
 And finally, Damian:

you little brat
just wants to be loved

So that's Bruce and his kids!  Quite the sitcom, eh?
Ahh, siblings...

Batman vs Robin (AKA The One That Doesn't Involve George Clooney)

Makoto sits down with two Batman fans to talk about why they love the caped crusader, and the new DC animated move, Batman vs Robin.  Maybe they should have watched Son of Batman first, but this is what happens when Sarah runs away and leaves Mako in charge...
Also discussed: Spider-Gwen!  Makoto thinks it could be worth picking up again, but was a little put off by Peter, the Hallucination Spider-Pig... really, that was a thing...

With all this talk about The Flash, it's got people wondering, how many of these super fast folks are there?  And how many of them are...*gasp* evil?

Valentine's Day Pairings! (AKA The One With No Love For Loki)

It's a special (belated) Valentine's Day episode!  We talk about our favorite couples in comic/superhero lore, as well as our Random Issue Grab picks.  Sarah started reading Batman: Hush (she hasn't finished it yet, so no one spoil it for her!), and is finding it a very emotional read.  Makoto picked up the first issue of Postal, and decides it's refreshing and she needs to know what happens next.
As for our main topic...  (Remember, this ship war is all in fun!)
1. (Sarah's pick)  Batman and Catwoman.
2. (Makoto's pick)  Spiderman and Mary Jane Watson.

3. (Sarah)  Robin and Starfire, Teen Titans animated series
4. (Makoto)  Clark Kent and Lois Lane
5. (Sarah)  Tony Stark and Pepper Potts

6.  (Makoto) Frank and Sadie Doyle
7. (Sarah)  Thor and Jane Foster
8. (Makoto) Archie and Sabrina
9. (Sarah)  The Doctor and River Song
10. (Makoto)  Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance
And for contrast, our NOTP...

Sarah chose:  Loki and EVERYBODY!

What are your favorite/ least favorite pairings?

Under The Red Hood (AKA The One Where We're All Distracted)

Mako invites Erika on to talk about Under The Red Hood, the DC Animated movie that made Jason cool again.  (Come on, no one was cosplaying Jason before this thing came out.)
Note- yes, that is a small child giggling throughout the whole first half.  What can I say, he has good taste...
We also have some talk about "Hawkeye: My Life As A Weapon".
Tune in to listen!

Episode 1: Batgirl costumes, Zatanna, Nightschool (AKA The One Where Barbara Is A Truck)

Sarah and Makoto kick off the first episode of As The Multiverse Turns with discussion on Nightschool: The Weirn Books and a back issue of Zatanna!  Then, they breakdown a list of their favorite Batgirl costumes!

Listen to episode HERE!

The list, in no particular order (Though the first one is definitely Mako's favorite...)

1. Barbara Gordon, recent New 52.  Two words: Body Armor
2.  Barbara Gordon, earlier New 52/The Adventures of Batman and Robin.  Gold and purple= visual win for Sarah.

3.  Barbara Gordon (again), Birds of Prey Tv series.  Best live action batgirl costume ever, in Makoto's opinion.

4.  Barbara Wilson, Batman & Robin.  That movie may not be critically acclaimed, but the costume is still memorable.
5.  Stephanie Brown, DC comics.  Gotta love the purple.
6.  Cassandra Cain, DC comics.   Possibly the most fear-inducing design.  Don't want to come face to face with that in a dark alley.

7.  Barbara Gordon, Batman: The Animated Series.  I Can't Believe It's Not Batman!
8.  Tiffany Fox, Futures End.  I have seen the future, and the future is bling.
